HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!

We’ve come a long way, baby! March 2018 marks Tot Squad’s 7th anniversary and in the midst of charging ahead, we look back on an amazing 2017 and how it will propel Tot Squad to even greater heights this year.

FUNDRAISING: SWINGING FOR THE FENCES

After being named as Tech Coast Angels’ “Most Fundable” startup in 2017, we successfully raised a total of $2.5 MM from an amazing cohort of individuals and angel groups. We are so grateful to all of our supporters!

NATIONWIDE EXPANSION

As remarkable as it sounds, we went from around 12 full time employees in 4 cities, to a force of 300 plus in over 40 states, virtually overnight! Thanks to the addition of these certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians to our force, we are looking to launch nationwide online sales of car seat installation with a major retailer in 2018.

TRADING SPACES

We moved in 2017. A lot. In addition to our new location in Manhattan at buybuy BABY, our Los Angeles headquarters also moved - into a beautiful retail space in Sherman Oaks that offers room to grow! We survived major construction and celebrated with a spectacular Grand Opening Party sponsored by Diono and Mom.me. See the pics!

DOCTOR, DOCTOR

As our fearless leader has begun to make a name for herself as a car seat safety expert and strategic young female entrepreneur, Jennifer’s press highlights include a feature in Forbes and and appearances on an episode of The Skimm’s “Get Off The Couch” and CBS’ The Doctors.

#EMBRACEAMBITION

With all the amazing events of 2017, the culmination was Jennifer being selected as a Tory Burch Fellow. During a whirlwind trip to NYC, Jennifer was graced by the personal wisdom of Ms. Burch and endowed with a $10,000 grant and copious Tory Burch swag. Thank you to everyone who voted for us during the competition!
